The Lost Orangery Weddings

One of the best things about being a professional wedding photographer is being invited to photograph special celebrations at stunning locations. I love going to new places and meeting new people, and feel so fortunate to be able to do both these things whilst doing my job!

Having recently relocated from London to Somerset I have lots of exploring to do and I’m building a wishlist list of wedding venues I have researched and am desperate to shoot at! The Lost Orangery at Euridge House is at the top. This extraordinary wedding venue is a photographers dream with stunning Georgian-style architecture, water features and magical private gardens.

I would like to share some of my favourite features of this bespoke wedding venue and why I can’t wait to shoot a wedding there. I have included some of my wedding photography from venues that are similar to Euridge House to show how I approach photographing at this kind of wedding venue.

My wedding photography style is relaxed and honest. I have a documentary approach and capture the day as it naturally unfolds. I make sure to photograph all the details and small moments that help tell the full story of a wedding day which is perfect for this fairytale wedding venue.

Euridge Manor

You will find this wedding venue being called Euridge Manor, Euridge House and Orangery and the Lost Orangery. All roads lead to Rome! Or in this case, a spectacular exclusive use wedding venue, nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds between Somerset and Wiltshire. An unforgettable venue for couples who want somewhere truly magical to host their wedding celebrations.

The Lost Orangery at Euridge Manor is licenced to hold civil ceremonies in 6 different places within the estate. So whether you choose to get married outside underneath the castle arch amidst the crumbling castle ruins, the spectacular boathouse or the secret garden orangery to name a few, your wedding photographs will be rich with grandeur and character.

The backdrop of this kind of venue makes my job easy as there are so many enchantingng places for couple and group photos. With exclusive use of the house and grounds featuring Georgian-style architecture, sparkling water features, evergreen palm trees, a crumbling castle, exquisite topiary, rose gardens, lawns, cloisters, archways, a boating lake with a thatched boathouse – and so much more, we will be spoilt for choice!

The cloister suite is perfect for bridal preparations, with loads of natural light and private nooks for sipping champagne and getting ready. The suite includes two beautiful double bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a kitchen with an open fire. I love to start photographing a wedding from the bridal preparations to help tell the full story of the day and capture all the intimate moments you will cherish.
