T&C

  • The Photographer(s) will document the events in a candid manner and take formal portraits as necessary. The client should provide a full list of formal photographs required including names and relationship to the Client.
  • Prior to or during the event, the Client may inform the photographer of subjects which they would like photographed, but the final content of the images is at the discretion of the Photographer.
  • Please note the Photographer can be limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example flash photography may not be allowed, and the Photographer may be restricted to shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Client agrees to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. It is advised that the bride and groom make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.
  • The Client will ensure that the guests at the event do not interfere with the Photographer’s work.
  • English Copyright Law states that the copyright of photographs remains with the photographer. The Photographer grants the Client permission to make copies of the images under the following conditions; the images taken by the Photographer are for personal use by the bride and groom and their friends and relatives. Selling, Publication or any Commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer.
  • The photographer may display samples of the images on her website and for advertising purposes but this is subject to approval by the couple. The client's privacy will always be respected and images will not be used without consent.
  •  If the Photographer is unable to perform due to fire or other casualty, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer’s illness or injury, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to this agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that images are lost through equipment malfunction, lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event that the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the Photographer’s fee. If necessary, every effort will be made to find an alternative fully qualified photographer.
  • The Client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to the photographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid.
  • An edit of high resolution images will be supplied to the bride and groom on a password protected weblink within 1 month of the wedding. These images will be gently retouched, but heavy retouching/manipulation is not included in the cost.
  • The Photographer will maintain backup copies of the images in their archive for a period of 4 years during which time the client may request all original files.
