I am a documentary style wedding photographer living in the unique little town of Frome in Somerset. I recently moved here after a decade in London, where I built up my photography career. I miss the buzz of the big city but I wouldn’t trade it for the green space and slower pace of life I have fallen in love with now.
I have a background in editorial portraiture and social documentary photography. My love of travel, meeting new people, storytelling and photographing people from all walks of life led me to photographing weddings. Through wedding photography I am now able to combine all these passions and I feel so honoured to have spent the last 8 years capturing the stories and memories of such special, celebratory days.
My wedding photography style and approach is natural and unobtrusive. I capture a narrative of the day with all the intimate, real and spontaneous moments in a relaxed and candid manner. It is your wedding day, not a photoshoot after all, and the last thing you want is a photographer bossing you around!
Don’t worry if you hate having your picture taken, or feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. I promise, after a short time you will hardly notice I am there. Your wedding is all about you feeling relaxed and in the moment, having the best time with your partner in crime, your family and friends. I will simply be there to document the fun!
For me my favourite part of a wedding day is the dancing, when everyone lets their hair down. You may find me joining in (to get the best shots of course!)
When I am not photographing weddings I'm usually shooting editorial portraits, you can view my work here, or teaching yoga in Frome.
If you’d like to get in touch to discuss your unique wedding, I’d love to hear from you.
